Job Description :
The Sheet Metal Mechanic supports activities around aircraft modification, specifically F-16 Production line structures and assembly. This includes both internal and external structures and surfaces for aircraft modification. All duties must be in accordance with technical manuals, engineering drawings, and FAA regulations. Most mechanics will be actively drilling precision holes on aircraft. Minimum Bench work - Candidates need to understand this is hands on production work, climbing on fuselage parts, stands, kneeling, and on ladders / stands. This is a W2 contract opportunity, US Citizens or US Persons only.
Responsibilities :
- Plans, lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs, and repairs aircraft structures for aircraft modification
- Installing fasteners, drilling bulkheads, skins, and building up fuselage components
- Perform heavy Precision drilling, countersinking, and reaming precision holes
Qualifications :
a. 1st Shift : Mon-Thurs, 6 : 00am-4 : 30pm
b. 2nd Shift : Mon-Thurs, 4 : 30pm-3 : 00am
c. Weekend Shift : Thurs-Sun, 6 : 00am-4 : 30pm
