Components Engineer Location : Westford, MA Job ID : #70402 Pay Range : $60-75 12 month contract Secret Clearance Required to Start Seeking to hire a Component Engineer who will have the opportunity to join a team of highly competent engineering professionals involved in the design, development, and support of Digital and RF / Microwave Products. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring the electrical components in the modules meet the highest reliability requirements as well as the product life cycle requirements. Basic Qualifications :
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or degree in Electrical Engineering Technology.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Component Engineering or obsolescence management or related field.
- Experience with PTC windchill for BOM (Bill of Material) development and management.
- Experience with Parts Standardization application and technology insertion within the design process.
- Experience with creation of Part control Drawings (SCD, VID).
- Knowledge of component selection, screening, qualification, and derating for use in military, and aerospace flight applications.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Secret clearance required to start Desired Skills :
- Knowledge of circuit card and EEE Parts Material manufacturing processes.
- Function as an experienced component technologist, responsible for the life cycle of electronic components.
- Ability to multi-task, handle shifting priorities and timeline pressure to meet project deadlines.
