Parts and Service Sales Representative

Overview :

Butler Machinery is in search of a passionate individual who can build strong relationships with customers. A Parts and Service Sales Representative assists salesmen with customer presentations, markets and sells the value of our parts and service, and finds new customers within the territory. This position will be traveling daily to customer accounts within their territory, building face-to-face relationships, possessing strong organizational skills, and coordinating their travel schedule weekly. Responsibilities :

• Establishes customer relationships.
• Assists salesmen with customer presentations
• Communicates with Aftermarket Sales Manager to relay parts and service opportunities as well as progress on tasks assigned, etc.
• Markets and sells the value of CAT parts and service.
• Finds new markets, customers and applications within territory.
• Performs equipment inspections to include certified used equipment, warranty inspections, certified truck service, and customer repair inspections.
• Develops good knowledge of competitive products and suppliers.
• Provides input on annual forecasts for territory potential.
• Resolve customer issues.
• Works with Customer Account Managers and Parts and Service Managers on goals and marketing ideas.
• Keeps good customer records.
• Works within and promotes vision, mission, and values of BMC.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
