Electrical Technician
Location : Nellis Air Force Base, NV

Job Description :
- Modifies, services, repairs, & overhauls F-16 aircraft electrical & avionics system to ensure airworthiness. Repairs, replaces & rebuilds aircraft electrical / avionics system & components. Performs operational checks, pre / post modification / upgrade / overhaul testing, troubleshoots & repairs aircraft electrical & avionics systems as required.
- Work typically requires a detailed understanding of electrical / avionics circuits and components. Uses complex test instrument and computer control equipment. Work will be reviewed by supervisor and / or Quality for compliance with accepted practices. May provide technical guidance.
- Selected candidate must have experience with understanding technical requirements on fighter type aircraft.
- Candidate must be able to read / understand Technical Orders, Wiring Diagrams, and Work books.
- Must have strong communications and interpersonal skills.
- Must read, write and speak English fluently.
- Regularly required to lift / carry up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive movements, and perform work from ground level to overhead.
- This position requires frequent standing for long periods, walking, stooping, kneeling, squatting, crawling, and twisting.
- Must be willing to cover other shifts, if needed
