What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Specialist for Production Schedules position at Butler America?
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Specialist to support our production schedules in Portsmouth, RI.
The primary mission of this role is to fulfill the responsibilities of a Manufacturing Engineer, including attending daily production meetings, reviewing and dispositioning non-conforming materials, and updating the Manufacturing Shop Floor system information.
This contractor will work in a collaborative team environment to achieve factory production goals and perform tasks as an individual contributor. Success will be measured by completion of tasks in support of production schedules and individual milestones established for independent tasks assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attending daily production meetings
- Reviewing and dispositioning non-conforming materials
- Updating Manufacturing Shop Floor system information
- Performing hardware reviews
- Providing technical support to assembly workforce
- Maintaining and generating Manufacturing Documentation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing engineering
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent organizational skills
