Knowledge of nursing course content and computer literacy required. Required personal attributes include integrity, emotional maturity, dependability, and effective communication skills. Knowledge of adult education methods and theories preferred.
A minimum of two years of demonstrated nursing ability in the hospital setting is required.
Preferred experience: experience as faculty within a nursing program or equivalent experience in a hospital setting.
BSN required and MSN preferred. A current license to practice nursing in the state of Kansas is also required.
