The Nursing Department is seeking an experienced, energetic and passionate Registered Nurse (RN) to teach in the classroom, lab and clinical sites. In order to accomplish the mission of the College and the Nursing Department, we must foster our over-arching guiding principle of student-centered learning. This position requires the ability to work well with a diverse student population in order to adequately prepare them to enter the healthcare environment.

C. Must have effective communication skills.
D. Able to demonstrate advanced computer literacy.
E. Knowledgeable of Adult education methods and theories.
F. Must maintain clinical expertise through ongoing practice.
G. Must be skilled in a variety of instructional techniques and technologies, with a demonstrated commitment to student engagement and learning outcomes.

Required experience
A. Minimum of three (3) years experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the acute care/hospital setting.
B. Prior teaching experience is preferred.

A. Current license to practice nursing in the State of Kansas.
B. Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing.
C. BSN degree (or must be completed within 3 years of hire date).
D. MSN degree (or plan of study on file within 5 years of hire date).
