What are the responsibilities and job description for the 4th Grade Self-Contained position at Butler County Educational Service Centre?
Fourth Grade Self-Contained Teacher - West Elementary (2025-2026 school year)
Must hold a valid Ohio teaching license in subject area. Collaborate daily with other fourth grade teachers; co-plan units; participate in grade level data meetings; develop and implement instructional calendars; design and deliver lessons connected to the state standards; work effectively in a team atmosphere. Must be properly licensed in grade level, subject and student population. TESOL endorsement preferred, but not required.
Applicants that are offered a teaching position shall be required to submit to an FBI/BCI criminal background check. Failure to satisfactorily pass the criminal background check based upon the discretion of the Board of Education will preclude an individual from employment with the Fairfield City School District.
