Position: Anticipated vacancy - Director of Transportation

General Description:
Responsible for the direct supervision of all board owned vehicles, for performing any of the duties required to transport students and property assigned to the board of education, and for the routing, dispatching, training and assignment of all transportation personnel vehicles.

Qualifications:

• Successful experience in school transportation is required.
• The possession of a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field is preferred.
• The possession and maintenance of an Ohio CDL driver’s license with school bus and passenger endorsements is required.
• Personal characteristics including loyalty, positivity, integrity, enthusiasm, energy and dedication.
• Strong understanding and experience with Ohio school law as it relates to transportation, school operation, school bus routing, and school transportation procedures.

Compensation: The successful candidate will be offered a multi-year contract. The salary will be regionally competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
