QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license
At least eighteen (18) years of age
Preferred experience working with special needs students
Appropriate State of Ohio Aide certification, and ESSA licensed by meeting one of the following:
Associate’s Degree
48 semester hours from an accredited higher education institution
Passing score on the ParaPro test
CPI (nonviolent crisis intervention) training or willingness and ability to complete the training
Neat and well-groomed
Good health, high moral character, good attendance record, and a pleasant disposition
Demonstrates a sincere desire to aid all students
Ability to lift 50 pounds
A satisfactory report from Criminal Records check
Other duties as appropriate to this position
