SALARY: $52,000 - $81,000 based upon experience and education
WORK YEAR: Full Time

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Assistant Principal, in conjunction with the Principal, is responsible for total oversight and daily operation of the Middletown Preschool Programs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· A minimum of a master's degree.
· Valid Ohio Administrator license or ability to obtain.
· Minimum of three (3) years’ of exemplary teaching experience in a special education setting preferred.
· Good written and verbal communications skills.
· Demonstrated leadership ability.
· Able to use a variety of communication methods to build relationships.
· Excellent organizational skills.
· Able to use technology to effectively manage data and information.
· Valid driver’s license and daily access to personal vehicle.
· History of excellent job attendance.
· Must pass required criminal background checks and be free from communicable diseases.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Salary and work year as established by the Governing Board. The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or non - prescribed controlled substance use in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the District.
EVALUATION:
Performance of this position will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Support Personnel.
