SALARY: $55,000 - $62,000 Based on education and experience

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Education Manager will assume leadership responsibilities for ensuring all Federal, State, and local standards and policies are implemented and upheld as they relate to the operation, development, assessment and training for the education for all children in the Head Start programs of the BCESC.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A baccalaureate or advanced degree in early childhood education; or a
baccalaureate or advanced degree and coursework equivalent to a major relating to
early childhood education with early education teaching experience
Supervisor or Administrative Experience
Willingness/ability to work as a team member
Demonstrated leadership ability
Demonstrated organizational abilities
Computer expertise
Valid driver's license and access to personal vehicle
History of good job attendance
Must pass criminal background checks, and be free from communicable disease

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Salary and work year as established by the Governing Board. The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or non - prescribed controlled substance use in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the District.
EVALUATION:
Performance of this position will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Support Personnel.
