What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Specialist position at Butler County Redevelopment Authority?
Applicant will be responsible for performing skilled, journey-level maintenance tasks in the upkeep and repair of Authority buildings and grounds located throughout Butler County. Duties include clearing simple obstructions in plumbing lines, patching, and preparing surfaces for painting, including installation of tile. Must have the ability to make minor electrical and plumbing repairs such as electrical cord and appliance repair, outlet and switch installation and changing water faucets and inserts. Employee will perform work including, but not limited to, replacing parts of dwelling unit equipment, and moving or relocating heavy appliances and equipment from one location to another and will maintain facility grounds, including landscaping lawn care and pressure washing. Will also perform pre-assigned preventive maintenance and safety inspections of equipment and facilities, and maintain a daily record of work performed, supplies and equipment used and time spent on each project. Minimum requirements include a valid PA Driver's License, a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of four years' experience in general maintenance work.
