Heavy Equipment Delivery Driver

We are seeking to hire an Equipment Delivery Person. This individual’s primary function is to pick up and deliver customer owned machines for the service department as well as new equipment for the sales department and our rental equipment. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and a medical certificate. Skills required include having customer service skills, experience driving a medium to heavy delivery truck with trailer ability to drive a flatbed truck, and also have a mechanical aptitude. Ability to operate all forms of light to medium heavy construction equipment, and all styles or lawn and garden equipment. Ability to lift, push, pull or carry 50 lbs when needed.

Duties include:

Properly organize and rout a daily schedule of pickups and deliveries which is proficient and cost effective for the company.

To drive our company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner following all transportation laws and regulations.

Properly loading and unloading equipment to trailer or truck using straps and chains as needed and coherent to the laws and regulations of the state.

Pickup and delivery of customers equipment in a timely and safe manner

Loading and unloading of our delivery trucks as needed.

Going over equipment functions of new equipment as well as the operational functions of the rental equipment with customers.

Perform inspections and notate on Repair Orders and Rental Equipment for any damages before or after delivery of equipment.

Other related duties as assigned or requested by departments.

Ensuring the company vehicles when being used are maintained and safe for the road on a daily basis.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
