Summary
We are seeking a Lot Attendant to join our team at Butler Equipment LLC in West Hartford, CT. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of our lot while providing excellent customer service to enhance the shopping experience for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lot and display areas.
- Assist customers with locating products and provide information about our offerings.
- Ensure that all equipment is properly parked and displayed for optimal visibility.
- Support delivery drivers by preparing items for transport as needed, as well as removing new equipment/parts pallets off trucks and put in proper location.
- Power wash rental equipment and service equipment
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Clean yard, empty garbage in shop and sales, clean sales floor, move equipment around. Load service equipment and inspect rental returns
- Build various equipment from 0 turns weed wackers, mowers, PDI excavators etc.
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on enhancing the customer experience.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and staff.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in retail or dealership environments is a plus.
- skills are an advantage but not required.
