Experienced Service/Parts Counter Position
Experienced Parts Counter Person Needed
This is a parts/ service position that will require the candidate to help service and mechanics lookup proper parts for engines and equipment needed to repair lawn and garden and construction equipment. Work with Service Advisors to properly communicate to our service customers to notify them of timeline and costs of repair. We are a dealer for ASV, Yanmar, Hyundai, Wright, Husqvarna, Exmark, Toro, Ariens, Bartell, Billy Goat, and several more.
Job duties include;
Looking up parts for various brands of equipment for customers and technicians.
Answering the phones when needed
Performing inventory cycle counts.
Carefully putting away incoming freight shipments when needed.
Carefully receiving freight order paperwork.
Working in conjunction with the Sales and Service departments to meet their parts needs.
Monitor backorder reports of parts for service, prompt advisors as needed for customer communication.
At times fill spots by working with customers at the counter in need of parts.
Develop yearly returns of parts to vendors and ensure proper credits are done.
Assist with counting inventory for various brands and keep isles neat and organized.
Candidate must be flexible in hours and be willing to work some Saturdays and overtime as needed. Candidate must have the ability to lift/carry 50 pounds for short periods of time. Candidate must have empathy and an ability to think outside of the box to find solutions to problems that will arise. Candidate must be willing to operate a forklift. Training can be provided.
Experience is required for this position. Candidate must have experience looking up Commercial Landscape, Engine and Construction Parts. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Candidate should have experience at the dealership level i.e. working previously at an equipment dealership performing parts or service.
