Butler Gas is currently seeking an ambitious, safety-oriented individual to join our distribution team at our Headquarter office in McKees Rocks, PA. We have more packaged gas capability than any company in our region, motivated to be the regions best gas manufacturer and distributor. Butler Gas has been family-owned-and-operated for 76 years.
We are looking for an eager individual with a personable and go-getter personality to deliver compressed gas cylinders to our customers. This individual is organized and likes structure but thrives in different day-to-day activities.
What will I be doing?
Driving to customer sites to deliver product
Completing branch-to-branch transfers
Forklift operation; loading and unloading the truck
Utilize the handheld scanner to track all BGP assets
Interacting with customers at point of delivery daily
Use iPad interfacing with Fleet Management Software
Maintaining the truck assigned, 100% Safe Operational Excellence
Experience / Credentials
CDL Hazmat (Class A) required
At least 1-year prior experience hauling hazmat material
1 year with no at-fault accidents on record
Must be able to move heavy product
Mechanically capable
Able to provide thorough, detailed written communication for paperwork
Has a friendly, upbeat personality
Compensation / Benefits : This position is Monday Friday, wage up to $30.00 / hour with a 40-50 hour work week. Hourly wage is determined by previous experience and credentials. 401K matching, profit sharing, monthly safety bonus, cell phone allowance, PTO, paid holidays off, and full medical benefits (less than $200.00 / month to cover your family) are also available to the candidate once hired.
