What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Therapist Butler Per Diem position at Butler Hospital?
Butler Hospital is seeking Per Diem Program Therapists to treat patients in our various Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospital Programs! This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician to work alongside highly talented Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists and Program Therapists and refine their skillset in evidence based practice. Job duties include initial psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, individual therapy, group therapy and family meetings as part of our multidisciplinary team. Includes treatment of Adolescents, Young Adults, Adults, Older Adults, LGBTQ , Autism Spectrum, Substance Abuse, Depression, Anxiety, Mood disorders, OCD and other psychiatric disorders. Programs operate Monday through Friday in both the daytime and evening.
Requirements:
- Education: Masters Degree in related field required
- Licensure: Independent License preferred
- Training and Experience: Experience in a psychiatric setting is required. Training and experience in relation to the population served is necessary- particularly with specialty programs (ADP/Substance, WPP/DBT, YAP/ACT, OCD IOP/ERP) or continuing education/in-services in that area will be required. Experienced in providing group and individual psychotherapy required.
- Special Qualifications: Interest and commitment in the programs at Butler Hospital and the dept of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at Brown
- Mental Demands- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, able to collaborate and work alongside a multi-disciplinary staff and treat acute patient population
