Job Description
As an Outside Sales Rep you will be responsible for increasing sales and building relationships with customers in order to grow the footprint of the business and increase sales month over month. This includes generating business from prospective customers, making cold calls, sourcing customers through jobsite visits throughout the tri-state area (NY, NJ and CT) , and servicing business for existing customers in concert with the Inside Sales Rep. This is a full-time, salaried position with uncapped commission and ongoing bonuses. The starting salary range for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 per year.
Core Responsibilities :
- 85%-90% of the time will be focusing on generating business from prospective customers
- 10%-15% of the time will focus on servicing existing customers in concert with the Inside Sales Rep (ISR)
- Network and develop relationships with developers, project managers, purchasers, and industry decision makers
- Actively participate in meetings, trade shows, and other industry events as needed
- Obtain continuous product knowledge
- Achieve all sales goals and metrics
