Butler Rescue Hands, Inc. – Now Hiring Per Diem Home Care Professionals in New Haven & Litchfield County, CT!
Are you a compassionate, experienced caregiver looking for flexible work in New Haven County or Litchfield County, CT? Butler Rescue Hands, Inc., a non-profit, non-medical home care agency, is seeking dedicated per diem caregivers to provide quality care and support to our clients in their homes. Position: Per Diem Caregiver (New Haven & Litchfield County, CT)
- Shift: 4-hour shifts, Monday – Friday
- Pay: $18-$20 per hour
- Job Type: Per Diem / Part-Time
What You’ll Do:
- Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities
- Perform light housekeeping and assist with laundry
- Prepare simple, nutritious meals and assist with feeding if needed
- Offer medication reminders and ensure client safety
- Run errands and provide transportation to appointments if needed
Requirements:
✔ 3 years of home care experience (dementia care a plus!)
✔ Reliable transportation – must have your own vehicle
✔ Strong communication and time management skills
✔ Ability to work independently and follow care plans
✔ Must be reliable, punctual, and professional
✔ Ability to pass a background check
