Job Opportunity: Personal Care Assistant – Butler Rescue Hands, Inc.
Location: Newtown, CT
Hours: Sunday Tueaday and Saturday 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM and daily4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18 per hour
Butler Rescue Hands, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our team. We are a non-medical home care agency committed to providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping, including laundry and tidying up
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and walking as needed
- Monitor and report changes in client’s condition
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for the client
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in home care or a related field is a must
- Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility if needed
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must pass a background check
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
