Our Industry Internship provides an opportunity for students to gain practical work experience and knowledge of the internal workings of a successful distributor. You will be exposed to the products we sell, learn what is “service-oriented sales”, and what career paths are available in a distributorship.
Responsibilities:
You will be exposed to and perform specific job responsibilities in a variety of areas including warehouse operations such as:
- Order fulfillment
- Putting away material
- Loading/unloading trucks
- Inventory related tasks such as cycle-counts
- Ride-along to make customer deliveries
- Project assignments
As more experience is gained, exposure to:
- Sales
- ERP System – SAP
- Administrative functions
- Management roles
