Description:
We are offering up to 29 hours per week for this position. We are seeking Machine Trades Instructors to deliver high-quality education in the areas of blueprint creation and interpretation, lathes, milling machines, and CNC programming. As an instructor, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive training to our students.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
- Possess an associate degree relevant to the discipline OR have at least five (5) years of industry experience.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of blueprint creation, interpretation, and application to manual machining.
- Possess knowledge of engine lathes, milling machine fundamentals, and CNC programming.
- Preferred machine trades industry certifications such as NIMS and/or CAD/CAM.
- Hold an Ohio Department of Education Adult Education teaching permit or be willing to obtain one.
- Have a student-oriented teaching style, fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment.
- Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with students, teachers, and administrators as an effective team member.
- Be proficient in email and Microsoft Office programs.
- Display strong problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical, oral and written communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Have a solid work record and an acceptable criminal record.

Based on the class schedule.
Pay:
We offer a competitive hourly wage ranging from $32.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
