Description:
We are seeking a Practical Nursing Instructor with daytime availability to to support a high school cohort.
This part-time position will employ effective teaching practices for 12th grade students to deliver half of the Practical Nursing curriculum, which enables high school graduates to earn their LPN credential at an accelerated pace.
Work hours are Monday - Friday 7:30 - 11:30am.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
- Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in nursing OR be within 12 months of graduation.
- Maintain current Ohio licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Be a graduate of an approved, accredited nursing school.
- Have a minimum of two (2) years of experience working as a registered nurse.
- Hold an Ohio Department of Education Adult Education teaching permit or be willing to obtain one.
- Have a student-oriented teaching style, fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment.
- Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with students, teachers, and administrators as an effective team member.
- Be proficient in email and Microsoft Office programs.
- Display strong problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical, oral and written communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Have a solid work record and an acceptable criminal record.
Pay:
We offer a competitive hourly wage ranging from $32.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
