| GENERAL DESCRIPTION            
This instructor will teach Social Studies courses to 10^th, 11^th, and/or 12^th grade students. Courses taught by the Social Studies Department include: American History, World History, Government, Economics, Financial Literacy, Current World Issues, Psychology, and Sociology.  Several CCP Social Studies offerings are also offered to students.
 
| QUALIFICATIONS

• Appropriate licensure/certification through the Ohio Start Board of Education covering all Social Studies course areas required such as Integrated Social Studies (150004);
• Master’s degree with 18 post graduate hours in content area preferred or willingness to obtain;
• Willingness/ability to work with students, teachers and administrators as a team member;
• Computer expertise appropriate to the position;
• Effective and demonstrated problem solving, critical thinking, analytical, oral and written communication, and organizational skills;
• State-issued identification card with photograph;
• History of strong work record, including good job attendance; and
• Documented evidence of acceptable criminal record as required by Ohio law and Board Policy.
