| POSITION Support Desk Technician Intern (Up to 3 positions)
| LOCATION D Russel Lee Building
| GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Support Desk Technician Intern will be one of the primary technicians for students’ technology needs at D. Russel Lee and School of the Arts. Interns will:
Interns will work between 8 and 20 hours a week. A schedule will be established at the start of the internship between the student, the counseling office, and IT staff.
Internships run from September to April.

| GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Support Desk Technician Intern will be one of the primary technicians for students’ technology needs at D. Russel Lee and School of the Arts. Interns will:
- respond to “tickets” generated either from walk-up requests or online through the ticketing system;
- diagnose and recommend repairs; and
- work on special technology-related assignments.
Interns will work between 8 and 20 hours a week. A schedule will be established at the start of the internship between the student, the counseling office, and IT staff.
Internships run from September to April.
| QUALIFICATIONS
- Current Fairfield Township Campus student in one of the following programs:
- IT,
- Engineering,
- Digital/Emerging Media, or
- Business;
- At least 3 months of previous Support Desk Intern or related experience;
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking relevant to the position;
- Strong oral and written communication skills;
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team;
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude;
- Ability to provide customer service, document progress, organize, prioritize, problem-solve, think critically, and exercise professional judgement;
- Satisfactory attendance and discipline record.
