Summary
The Associate Biddable Media Strategist is responsible for supporting the development of effective strategies for biddable media channels (programmatic, search, social) across the agency’s client base. This individual will have experience with campaign management, media strategy, and has worked hands-on in self-serve platforms like Meta, Google, The Trade Desk, etc. This position supports the development and execution of data-driven media strategies while gaining hands-on experience with campaign analysis, platform capabilities, and industry trends.
The Associate Biddable Media Strategist is detail-oriented, and eager to learn, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. They drive positive business outcomes by leveraging data insights, maintaining strong partner relationships, and continually optimizing performance to meet client objectives. They work collaboratively with their senior counterparts to navigate issues, escalating to leadership when necessary for additional support.

Key Outcome: Support Biddable Tactical Planning
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing innovative, data-informed biddable media strategies that align with client goals and broader campaign objectives.
- Support collaboration with Integrated Planning and channel activation teams to develop cohesive, synergistic cross-channel media recommendations.
- Learn to analyze historical campaign performance, market trends, and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.
Key Outcome: Support Data-Driven Decisions & Testing
Key Responsibilities:
- Support in open communication with partners to address biddable-specific performance opportunities and challenges.
- Assist in documenting media learnings with cross-functional teams to inform broader strategies and future planning efforts.
- Help develop best practices and frameworks to optimize campaign performance and align biddable strategies with overall business goals. Support the execution of testing initiatives by gathering data and preparing reports.
- Collaborate with specialists to analyze test results and document findings.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to identify testing opportunities.
Key Outcome: Enhance Collaboration and Build Strong Partnerships
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the building and maintenance of strategic relationships with biddable media, audience, supply, and ad tech partners.
- Assist in producing insights, case studies, and thought leadership to elevate the agency’s profile in the industry and enhance internal knowledge-sharing efforts.
- Participate in internal meetings and training sessions to build expertise.
Key Outcome: Build Foundational Biddable Media Expertise
Key Responsibilities:
- Stay informed about biddable media platforms and industry trends.
- Demonstrate growing expertise in partner capabilities, including ad tech platforms, supply, and data providers to ensure seamless integration into campaign plans.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:
- EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or equivalent work experience.
- EXPERIENCE: 0-2 years of experience in the digital marketing, advertising, and/or media field.
- Proven track record in operating with a high-level of integrity, commitment, and enthusiasm to take on a challenging role with cross-functional commitments.
- Grasp new technology (DSPs, SSPs, AI, etc.) and product changes quickly, and identify application to current work.
- Growing written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Intermediate-level skillset in Excel.
- PREFERRED:
- Self-starter able to seek new opportunities or projects.
- Experience in The Trade Desk, Google, PulsePoint, and/or Meta platforms.
- Experience in biddable channel tactical planning and applied experience of bringing plans to fruition.
