Job Overview
Our growing clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions. As an FNP, you will work as part of an integrated care team to deliver high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting.
The FNP must have the ability to work at least 20 hours per week and may work up to a maximum of 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and health histories.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses across the lifespan.
- Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay updated on best practices in hospital medicine and family healthcare.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
- Valid state nursing license with prescriptive authority.
- Skilled in pediatric care.
- Proficient in specimen collection processing techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
