*Job Title:* Facilities Coordinator
*Job Summary:*
The Facilities coordinator is responsible for transport/Pickup deliveries, maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and upkeep of our facilities. This role ensures a safe, healthy, and productive environment for employees, visitors, and clients.
*Key Responsibilities:*
1. * Transportation/Pickup deliveries*
- Safely transport people, goods, and materials from one location to another.
- Ensure that all pickups and deliveries are done in a timely and efficient manner.
-Provide excellent customer service to all passengers and clients.
- Be courteous, friendly, and helpful at all times.
2. *Cleaning and Maintenance:*
- Restock supplies, such as paper products, soap, and toilet paper.
3. *Facilities Upkeep:*
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and tightening loose fixtures.
- Report major maintenance issues to the Facilities Manager or other designated personnel.
4. *Organization and Safety:
- Monitor and report any safety concerns or incidents.
5. *Special Events and Projects:*
- Assist with event setup and teardown, including arranging furniture and cleaning up after events.
- Participate in special projects, such as deep cleaning, painting, or minor renovations.
6. *Vehicle Maintenance:*
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on the vehicle.
- Report any vehicle issues or problems to the supervisor.
*Requirements:*
1. *Education:* High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. *Experience:* 1-2 years of experience in facilities maintenance, janitorial services, or a related field.
3. *Skills:*
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures, materials, and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
4. *Certifications/Licenses:* DRIVERS LICENSE and clean driving record of 2 years, certifications in areas like OSHA, CPR/First Aid, or facilities management may be beneficial.
*Working Conditions:*
1. *Work Environment:* Facilities maintenance work is often performed in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
2. *Physical Demands:* The role requires standing, walking, lifting, and bending for long periods and at times to sit for long periods, lift and carry heavy objects, and work in a variety of weather.
3. *Safety Precautions:* The Facilities Assistant must follow safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals, operating equipment, performing maintenance tasks, and all driving protocols such as wearing a seat belt.
