Assistant Childcare Provider for In-Home Preschool

Job Overview
We are looking for a caring and energetic Assistant Childcare Provider to join our in-home preschool team. The ideal candidate will assist the lead teacher in delivering engaging lessons, supervising children, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.

Duties

• Support the lead teacher with daily activities, including crafts, storytime, and educational games.
• Supervise and engage children in age appropriate play and learning experiences.
• Assist with meal preparation, snack distribution, and clean up.
• Help with daily routines, including transitions, naptime, and bathroom needs.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and cheerful learning space.
• Communicate effectively with children and lead teacher.

Experience

• Previous experience in childcare or related fields is preferred, particularly in toddler care or early childhood education.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; early childhood coursework is a plus.
• pediatric CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Patience, creativity, and a nurturing attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No nights
• No weekends
