Job Description
About the Role :
As a founding member of the BDR team at Butterfly Network, you will play a critical role in accelerating our growth by identifying and qualifying potential customers, generating leads from healthcare institutions, and closing business. In this newly formed team, you will also be responsible for assisting to build out team processes and workflows establishing the foundation for future team growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and ambitious individual to launch their career in a fast-paced, dynamic, and high impact environment.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate leads : Identify and research potential customers through various channels, including online research, industry events, and networking.
- Qualify leads : Evaluate leads based on their needs, budget, and decision-making authority to determine their potential as customers.
- Schedule meetings : Arrange meetings between qualified leads and Sales to build Sales pipeline and accelerate the sales process.
- Close business : Process orders that meet criteria to be owned by BDR
- Maintain CRM : Accurately track and update all lead information and interactions in the company's CRM system.
- Collaborate : Work closely with Sales to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads and support the sales process. Partner with Marketing to deliver feedback and refine demand generation approaches.
- Stay informed : Keep up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and Butterfly Network's product updates.

This is a hybrid position and will be based out of our office in New York City, NY.
Benefits and Perks
Compensation
Our estimated salary for this role based in NYC is around $65,000 commission equity benefits. Actual pay is determined by multiple factors such as skills, qualifications, experience and market demand.
For this role, we are only considering candidates who are legally authorized to work in the United States and who do not now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status.
