Our Solution:
Developers and owners no longer need to run building wiring or install in-unit hardware. Property managers can grant building access, revoke permissions, and review entry logs from an online dashboard. Residents can open doors from their smartphones, issue visitor access, and see who is trying to enter the building.

We are a leading property technology (Proptech) startup that is looking to add a passionate and self-driven team member to expand our growing hardware fulfillment group. We develop software and hardware to enable people to open and manage doors from their smartphones. Our solutions are currently being used by more than 13,000 properties including the largest and most trusted names in multifamily and commercial real estate.

The Logistics Coordinator will play a role, balancing responsibilities between fulfillment coordination and manufacturing support. You must work collaboratively as part of an agile cross-company team to ensure that our intercoms and related equipment get to our customers when they need them. This position will be a member of the ButterflyMX hardware operations team.

**The schedule for this role is Monday-Friday 6am-2pm PST (40 hours/week)**

Responsibilities
  • Operate the daily shipment process, ensuring that all products are shipped and received accurately and on time.
  • Resolve fulfillment issues by contacting shipping vendors or internal teams to correct errors, address missing information, and ensure successful order fulfillment.
  • Process and track returns, managing the entire lifecycle from initiation to processing, ensuring items are returned and documented correctly.
  • Update internal teams with shipping updates and be the liaison for the warehouse.
  • Work closely with client success managers and the fulfillment specialist to validate and manage shipment needs for replacement hardware (RMA). Coordinate with internal teams to ensure that daily customer shipments are met on time.
  • Generate shipping labels for internal teams such as parts order requests and return swaps.
  • Assist with other warehouse operations as needed, such as moving products, assisting in assembly, or helping with packing and shipping.
  • Create commercial invoice documentation for international orders.
  • Work with UPS and FedEx to resolve shipment issues

Requirements

  • Prior experience in fulfillment or warehouse roles is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with team members and shipping vendors.
  • Ability to focus on details and follow standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to adapt and manage both fulfillment and manufacturing tasks, switching between roles as necessary.
  • Comfortable with basic computer programs and record-keeping systems.
  • Desire and flexibility to learn and grow in a fast paced and growing environment
  • Salesforce experience is preferred but not required.
