We are seeking a team player to join our Maintenance Team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for preventive maintenance and troubleshooting the mechanical and electrical aspects of packaging equipment at our facility in compliance with standard operating procedures. The Maintenance Technician will complete work orders and perform a wide variety of skilled maintenance activities.
Flexible schedule: Monday - Thursday, 3:00 pm - 1:00 am.

Requirements:Qualifications:
- Experience in low voltage controls
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-directing
- Strong Mechanical Aptitude
- PC literate, Word, Excel
- Ability to work from heights, (Scissor lift/ladders)
- Team Player
- Calm Under Pressure
- Able to work a flexible schedule when needed, including overtime
- Solid Troubleshooting Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- This position requires frequent standing and lifting at times up to 50 pounds.
- Valid Vermont Driver’s License with a clean driving record with the ability to travel between local sites.
- Proficient reading and writing skills in English are required.
- Ability to successfully pass a Post-Offer Physical Exam (POPE).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a food processing environment
- Skills with single and three phase power, boiler, and building maintenance
- Fabrication and Welding experience preferred
- Electrical experience a plus
- Familiar with PLC’s and logic
- Safety programs; LOTO, Work from Heights, Confined Space
