Job Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed Chrysler/GM Customer Care Standards each quarter in all related areas
- Assist walk-in customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, offer specials and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line
- Pull purchased parts from stock
- If the part is not in stock, determine availability and submit an emergency order if requested by the customer
- Assist the Parts Manager in maintaining a Lost Sale Tracking Program
- Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information
- Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery or pick-up
- Solicit assigned accounts by phone
- Order parts not in stock if (after discussion with the Parts Manager)
- Notify the customer that ordered parts have been received
- Ensure that all parts are charged out before they leave the department
- Be friendly, professional and efficient when working with customers, both on the phone and in person
- Keep current on new products and product updates
- One year of experience in an automotive parts sales position is required
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Professional personal appearance
