Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to lead our service department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical, specifically service management and have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
- Manage and mentor service staff, providing training on diagnostics, maintenance, and customer service best practices.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Develop and implement strategies for improving service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring resolution aligns with company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed.
- Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure seamless operations.
- Collaborate with other teams to promote services and enhance overall business performance.
Experience
- Proven experience in service management or a similar role within the industry.
- Must have electrical or similar background.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and team members.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of NEC regulations is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience with Service Fusion and QB Time.
