Overview
We're a custom wood shop specializing in mantels, shelves, countertops, faux beams, and epoxy tables. We also handle milling logs, producing wall paneling and flooring. This position includes hands-on work in production, material handling, and helping load customer orders. Great opportunity for someone dependable, hardworking, and ready to grow with us.
Responsibilities
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently to fabricate wood products.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials using grinders, sanders, saws and other power tools
- Collaborate with team members to design and build custom pieces that meet client specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in the warehouse environment.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols to create a safe working environment for all team members.
Experience
- Previous experience in carpentry or woodworking is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with wood working machines and the ability to operate various power tools is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for building unique items from raw materials.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting while also being self-motivated.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations will be beneficial.
