This position is remotely based. The pay range for this role is $55,000 - $65,000 a year with an OTE of $100,000. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role.
We are seeking a highly talented and driven Sales Development Representative to join our team. In this role, we are looking for a professional and goal-oriented individual who is motivated to succeed. As a Sales Development Representative, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by connecting with potential customers, understanding their needs, and scheduling appointments for our Account Executives. Your exceptional communication and active listening skills, combined with your drive for success, will play a vital role in effectively addressing objections and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Your impact:
- Conduct cold phone and email outreach to prospective clients
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential customers through ongoing lead-generation activities.
- Engage prospects by gathering key information and demonstrating Back Offices value during discovery calls
- Handle objections and address concerns raised by potential customers.
- Assess the suitability of prospects and qualify them as sales opportunities.
- Spearhead new initiatives, deliver market feedback, and collaborate cross-functionally with sales and marketing
- Track and report key data points using Salesforce
- Schedule appointments and meetings with qualified prospects for the sales team.
- Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
- Driving toward results by meeting monthly/quarterly/yearly quotas
About you:
- 2 years in a sales role, experience selling to foodservice retailers preferred
- Experience in and an understanding of the foodservice industry within retail preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
