This is a hybrid role based out of our New London, CT office. We are unable to provide sponsorship for work authorization.
We are seeking a Staff Accountant to assist in maintaining accounting operations for our Foodservice SaaS company!
Your Impact:
- Help maintain accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable and collections
- Assist in month-end process including preparation of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations in a timely manner
- Oversee accounting queue; corresponding with vendors, clients and employees regarding AP or billing-related matters
- Work with all levels of department personnel
- Support with special projects, reporting, and ad hoc requests
About You:
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience
- College degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- High Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel)
- Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Aptitude for solving problems
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
