This is ideally a hybrid position based out of our office located in Becker, MN. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role. 

As a Senior Developer at RealTime Solutions, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company’s custom developed proprietary web-based internal database. You will collaborate with various departments to identify internal and external business needs and opportunities to ultimately contribute to the growth and success of RTS.

Your impact:

• Develop queries/stored procedures/views for website pages
• Create queries and tables for RTI reporting
• Troubleshoot and research issues with database processes
• Design and update Reporting Services reports and programming schedules for subscriptions
• Create/Schedule/Enhance/Monitor/Troubleshoot data Integrations and Webservice APIs between External Clients and RTS.
• Convert/Update codebase(s) to newer technologies and platforms.
• Ability to find and debug problems as they arise in their own code and others
• Provide support to end users for all applications and services developed and maintained by the development group
• Understand strategies, and objectives to deliver analytics that align with business needs
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Proactively achieve project objectives within deadlines by working with internal and external stakeholders
• And other support as required and requested

About you:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline
• 5 plus years of database programming experience or equivalent
• Experience and fundamental knowledge of the following:
  • MSSQL, MSSQL Reporting and Integration services
  • MS Active Server and Razor Pages
  • React
  • C#
  • Tableau
  • MS-VBA
• Proficiency with development and testing tools such as:
  • Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
  • Visual Studio Code
  • Visual Studio Community
  • Postman
• Experience with source control systems including:
  • GitHub
  • TFS
• Required expertise with Microsoft Office 365, specifically Teams, Excel and Power Point
• Ability to multitask in fast paced environment, working independently and with internal team
• Strong organizational and project management skills, including attention to detail
• Advanced communication, presentation, critical thinking, interpersonal relationships and problem-solving skills
• Strength in explaining complex information in ways that are easy to understand
• Demonstrates good judgement, creativity and positive attitude
• Knowledge and experience in interpreting and resolving end-user requests
• Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects and work independently and as part of a team
