Cannabis Delivery Driver

Buymoreweed.com (BMW) operates a licensed cannabis delivery service throughout Southern California. The company is growing and looking for delivery drivers to join our amazing, customer-focused family! Our team is looking for a full-time role, if you are looking for flexibility or work on demand, this job is not for you. We are looking to build a team of people who enjoy coming to work and making our customers happy. There are multiple shifts (Monday-Sunday) along with overtime available (and expected when necessary). You will be interacting with customers, collecting their ID, relaying relevant company and compliance policies, and executing transactions. Hours can range from 11am-11pm. Our goal is to provide an accessible menu of the best cannabis products in California and provide consistent, reliable and timely delivery always.

You must be able to:

• Cover an up to 8 or 10-hour shift that falls within the hours of 11 am and 11 pm
• Commit to a minimum of 5 shifts per week
• Be able to use a vehicle for transportation
• Have no accidents on your driving record
• Have a valid Driver’s License

What you'll do

• Start and end your day delivering at our licensed, secure location in Montebello, CA
• Deliver a variety of products to different addresses and along various routes
• Follow assigned routes and set time schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, and operate a delivery vehicle
• Collect cash payments, process other forms of payment and count money for change
• Inform customers about new products and services
• Work with the dispatch team to execute deliveries and customer issues
• De-escalate customer concerns and pass them to supervisors
• Abide by all cannabis regulations & compliance procedures

Who you are

• Must be over the age of 21, have a valid California Driver's License, and car insurance (Liability) in your name
• Must have a driving record with no traffic violations for 3 years
• You have a smartphone such as an iPhone or Android with a newer operating system
• Have excellent organizational and time management skills
• You are available to drive multiple days a week, including weekends.
• You must be comfortable holding cash and product valuing up to $9,000 at any given time.
• KIND. You must be a kind and patient team member! We aim to serve many patrons who are in severe chronic pain and we focus on providing exceptional customer service. When delivering, we hope you always have a big smile on your face.
• PUNCTUAL. You must be the type of person who shows up 10 minutes early. Unlike many delivery services, we NEED to be on time for every delivery. We believe the current cannabis delivery experience sucks, and we want your help to change it. Timing is everything!
• PROACTIVE. There may be cases in which we don't explicitly tell you to do something, but our team wants to trust you to get the job done compliantly. This also means calling us when you need clarification, we are a family that is here to help.

Your car must

• Have a separate trunk with plenty of free space! We will expect you to carry all customer orders in your trunk.
• Have an alarm.
• Your car should be clean and professional looking. Your car is a reflection of our company, and we will assist in making sure your car is prepared and always stocked with snacks and drinks!
• You must have a car that is able to charge your phone and/or dashcam via USB
