Evening Warehouse Associate

Buzz Food Service is looking for dynamic individuals to join us as Warehouse Associates. These individuals should enjoy organizing, maintaining good records and enjoy working in a team atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be able to lift 80 pounds and up to 100 pounds on a regular and frequent basis.
• Ability to read, understand and carry out written instructions in English
• Previous experience in a warehouse pick/pack fulfillment and distribution environment or as a truck driver is preferred
• Ability to pass a drug screen is a condition of employment
• Verbal communications skills to adequately communicate any order and delivery updates to office staff and sales team

Responsibilities

• Responsible for picking/pulling/building/shipping orders for delivery
• Load trucks for daily delivery
• Effectively manage invoices and inventory on delivery truck to ensure successful delivery of all parts in saleable condition
• Working at a fast pace, lifting to 80lbs, and climbing in/out of delivery trucks repeatedly throughout the day
• Adhere to and promote all safety policies and procedures including, but not limited to safe lifting techniques and personal protective equipment policies
• Arrive to work on time and ready for the day
• Other duties as assigned

Buzz is a proud family-run business, with the current leadership being the third generation to run Buzz. Based in Charleston West Virginia, our Warehouse Associates are the backbones of this business. We're looking for team players who enjoy organizing and being friendly and maintaining proper records of order fulfillment. CDLs are not required.
