Position Overview:
BuzzClan is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager/Lead to drive the growth of our technology and staffing solutions across commercial, state, or federal markets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of securing and growing contracts in one or more of these domains, a deep understanding of procurement processes, and strong technical expertise in IT services and staff augmentation.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead business development initiatives targeting commercial agencies, state/local government entities, or federal agencies, including cities, counties, and educational institutions.

Build and maintain strategic relationships with key decision-makers, procurement officers, and stakeholders in the relevant domain.

Develop winning proposals and responses to RFPs/RFQs for technology and staffing solutions.

Create and execute go-to-market strategies for BuzzClan's core offerings, including:

IT Staff Augmentation Services

Cloud & Infrastructure Solutions

Business Application Services

Data Engineering & Analytics

Quality Assurance & Automation Solutions

Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure proper solution design, pricing, and client satisfaction.

Track and forecast sales pipeline and revenue, ensuring consistent growth.

Stay current on industry trends, IT initiatives, and spending priorities within the target domain.

Mentor and support junior business development team members.
Required Qualifications:

7 years of business development experience selling technology solutions to commercial, state/local government, or federal clients.

Proven track record of winning and growing contracts in one or more of the following domains:

Commercial/Private Sector

State/Local Government (e.g., Texas DIR experience is a plus)

Federal Government

Deep understanding of procurement processes, contract vehicles, and compliance requirements in the relevant domain.

Experience with staff augmentation and professional services delivery models.

Strong network of relationships within commercial, state, or federal agencies.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of key technology partnerships (e.g., Oracle, AWS, Microsoft).

Experience with domain-specific contract vehicles (e.g., Texas DIR, GSA schedules, etc.).
