Business Development Manager – Commercial/ Private Sector Solutions
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: Full Time
BuzzClan seeks an experienced Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our technology and staffing solutions across commercial agencies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of securing and growing commercial contracts, a deep understanding of the commercial sector procurement process, and strong technical acumen in IT services and staff augmentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business development initiatives focused on different commercial /Private agencies, cities, counties, and educational institutions
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key decision-makers and procurement officers
- Develop winning proposals and responses to RFPs/RFQs
- Create go-to-market strategies for BuzzClan's core offerings, including • IT Staff Augmentation Services • Cloud & Infrastructure Solutions • Business Application Services • Data Engineering & Analytics • Quality Assurance & Automation Solutions
- Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure proper solution design and pricing
- Track and forecast sales pipeline and revenue
- Stay current on commercial IT initiatives and spending priorities
- Mentor and develop junior BD team members.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 10 years of business development experience selling technology solutions to commercial clients
- Proven track record of winning commercial contracts.
- Deep understanding of commercial procurement processes, contract vehicles, and compliance requirements
- Experience with staff augmentation and professional services delivery models
- A strong network of relationships within commercial agencies
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Oracle, AWS, Microsoft, and other key technology partnerships
- MBA or relevant advanced degree
- Private sector consulting background
