The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is seeking a Senior Level GIS Technical Architect contractor for an approximate 12 month engagementassigned to the GIS Unit.

- This position is fully remote. The candidate will need to use their own equipment for the duration of the engagement.
This Senior Level GIS TechnicalSpecialist position provides technical assistance and support; for both theimplementation of the GIS conversion tools for the ROWMS project and thelegislative mandate to identify and then maintain a list of residue stateproperties for potential resale. This resource will be dedicated to this effortthrough implementation and stabilization. In addition this resource has beentasked with upgrading Mileage Reporting efforts and works closely with thePhotogrammetry Unit to develop custom GIS toolboxes for aerial photofootprints.
