BVA Bears IT Solutions is seeking a Senior Computer Software/Integration Analyst. This is a full-time, remote role with travel to other Government or Contractor facilities as required. The average workday is 8 hours and the window in which those 8 hours may be scheduled is between 6:00am hours and 6:00pm hours eastern time, Monday through Friday except for Government Holidays with the core hours (9am to 3pm) being covered.
As the Senior Computer Software/Integration Analyst you will be responsible for supporting the design, integration, and management of complex software systems. The role involves presenting system designs, managing configuration changes, performing software integration, and interpreting test results. The analyst will also provide recommendations for improvements based on test outcomes and offer solutions to software problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Present system designs for formal user approval at reviews.
- Perform configuration management and integrate software systems.
- Interpret software test results and recommend solutions for unsatisfactory outcomes.
- Provide solutions to address identified software problem reports.
- Support life-cycle activities, including software maintenance, administration, and management.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related scientific/technical discipline.
- 8 years of progressive experience as a Computer Specialist or Computer Systems Analyst.
- 5 years of experience specifically as a Computer Systems Analyst.
- Experience implementing computer systems through a phased approach, including:
- Requirements analysis
- Conceptual design
- Site survey
- System design reviews (SDR/CDR)
- Installation, integration, and testing
- Experience performing requirements analysis for a broad range of users in fields like office automation, finance, and accounting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Knowledgeable in full life-cycle support, including system maintenance, administration, and management.
- Familiarity with government policies and standards for system integration and software implementation.
