BVA Bears IT Solutions is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Technical Writer/Editor to support and enhance our IT solutions for government and contractor environments. This role will focus on ensuring that applications and systems meet accessibility requirements and deliver a high level of performance. The specialist will also travel to government or contractor sites as necessary.

-Assists in collecting and organizing information for the preparation of user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports.
- Editing functional descriptions, system specifications, user manuals, special reports, or any other customer deliverables or document.
- Conducting research and ensuring the use of proper technical terminology.

- Translating technical information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and non- technical personnel.
- Using the standard help compiler to prepare all on-line documentation (for applications built to run in a Windows environment).
- Assisting in performing financial and administrative functions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in related field.
- 5 years of experience in this area and must demonstrate the ability to work independently, or under only general direction.
- 2 years of experience in preparing and editing documents, including technical documents
- Experience conducting research for applicable standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
