Position Overview:
As our Data Analyst Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our data-driven decision-making process. Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Extract and organize data from relational databases using SQL. Perform data cleaning and preprocessing to ensure its accuracy and completeness to be used for analysis.
- Analysis & Reporting: Perform basic quantitative analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business decisions. Create interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to analyze and generate actionable insights.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and translate them into clear, actionable reporting metrics.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of data sources, queries and processes for transparency and reproducibility.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on data analysis tools, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve data strategy.
- Support: Assist Analytics Manager in larger projects, including ad-hoc data requests and troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in data analysis or a related role. Internships or project experience in data analysis within the luxury or retail industry is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills:
- Foundational knowledge of SQL (e.g., writing queries, joins, aggregations).
- Hands-on experience with Power BI (e.g., building dashboards, DAX, data modeling).
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas).
- Basic understanding of data principles and pipeline (ETL, data warehousing).
