Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Human Resources to lead our HR department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in human resources management and demonstrate exceptional skills in process improvement, talent acquisition, and benefits administration. The Director of Human Resources will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our organizational goals while fostering a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of human resources management, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and benefits administration.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that promote best practices and compliance with applicable laws.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives and drive organizational effectiveness.
- Supervise HR staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance HR operations and employee experience.
- Communicate effectively with employees at all levels, addressing concerns and fostering a culture of open dialogue.
- Negotiate contracts with external vendors related to employee benefits and services.
- Present HR metrics and insights to senior leadership to inform decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior HR role with a focus on process improvement and talent acquisition.
- Strong knowledge of benefits administration practices and relevant employment laws.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience supervising HR teams.
- Proficient in using HRIS systems such as PeopleSoft for managing employee data and reporting.
- Ability to negotiate effectively with external partners while maintaining organizational interests.
