What You’ll Do
You will be responsible for the oversight and execution of multiple, complex, industrial construction projects for our Food, Beverage, Consumer Packaged Goods, and Life Science sector manufacturing clients. You will work with Regional Safety Managers, Directors, Site Superintendents, Subcontractors, and Vendors to ensure our projects remain on schedule within the allocated budget.

What You’ll Do
You will be responsible for the oversight and execution of multiple, complex, industrial construction projects for our Food, Beverage, Consumer Packaged Goods, and Life Science sector manufacturing clients. You will work with Regional Safety Managers, Directors, Site Superintendents, Subcontractors, and Vendors to ensure our projects remain on schedule within the allocated budget.
Risk Management and Project Execution:
- Manage project risk associated with contracts, vendors and suppliers.
- Generate accurate monthly project control reports.
- Create and review project estimates based on conceptual and early project design packages.
- Manage project execution from inception to close-out, including planning, scheduling, budgets, and coordination of construction resources.
- Manage the contractor bidding process including assembling bid packages, conducting job walks, evaluating bids, and coordinating contractor mobilization activities.
- Review subcontractor contracts and proposals for conformity to the project schedule and scope.
- Coordinate subcontractor and supplier requirements to meet project schedule operations.
- Ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
- Ensure that all materials and methods of construction conform to project, industry, and regulatory standards, specifications, and requirements.
- Oversee project safety.
- Oversee jobsite, planning, progress, and closeout meetings.
- Assume responsibility for safe, quality, timely, and cost-effective execution of on-site construction project work.
- Analyze subcontractor change requests.
- Make an impact day-to-day with your skills and expertise, strengthening that relationship with our clients and team.
- Manage construction projects in the food, beverage, and life science manufacturing sectors in collaboration with our in-house design teams, licensed professional engineers, governing authorities, and subcontractors.

- Multifaceted Mastery: A unique blend of project management skills, client relationship expertise, and deep knowledge in food, beverage, consumer packaged goods, and life science manufacturing sectors. This diverse skill set is critical for navigating the complexities and high-impact nature of this role.
- Veteran Professionalism: Boasting over 12 years in construction roles, including as a project engineer and construction project manager.
- Specialized Leadership: A solid eight years as a construction project manager, with a focus on industrial structures.
- Design-Build Insight: Preferred experience with an Architecture & Engineering (A&E) design-build firm.
- Industry-Specific Management: Preferred background as a construction manager in industries like food, beverage, consumer products, and pharmaceuticals.
- Wide-Ranging Project Portfolio: Successful completion of industrial projects ranging in value from $50K to $150M.
- Contract Expertise: Skilled in negotiating contracts and assembling comprehensive bids for final presentation.
- Technological Fluency: Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, or Revit.
- Contractual Knowledge: A thorough understanding of prime contract requirements, including schedules, scopes, budgets, and performance metrics.
- Manufacturing Site Insight: Preferred experience in manufacturing site management.
- Technical Acumen: An understanding of process and manufacturing systems and proficiency in reading P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams).
