What You’ll Do
As a Production Scheduler/Planner, you will play a vital role in keeping our operations running smoothly. You will:
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production teams to develop and manage production schedules that ensure on-time delivery.
- Analyze project requirements to align schedules with customer needs, engineering specifications, and material availability.
- Optimize workflow efficiency by sequencing work orders and coordinating personnel and machine allocation.
- Ensure seamless execution by working closely with production supervisors, ensuring materials, tools, and manpower are available when needed.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules proactively to meet shifting demands.
- Partner with purchasing teams to ensure timely procurement of necessary parts and components.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks, continuously seeking ways to improve throughput and efficiency.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, downtime, and costs to drive process improvements.
- Own the process, ensuring strict follow-up protocols to keep projects on track.
We’re looking for a detail-oriented problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have:
- 3 years of experience in production scheduling or planning within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities to balance multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively across teams and departments.
- A proactive mindset, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
- Technical aptitude and an understanding of manufacturing processes.
